Micromax to launch a smartphone with narrow bezel screen on August 22, Canvas Infinity expected


Every company is now keen on launching phones with bezel-less display. Micromax has sent out invite for the launch of its new phone with minimal bezels and more screen on August 22nd. The invite just says ”Let’s put a number to infinity” along with the launch date and the image of the phone.
The phone has a curved glass on the front and the sides of the phone is curved. On the top bezel there are sensors, earpiece and the front camera, bu the fingerprint sensor is not present on the bottom bezel, so it will likely be present on the back of the phone.
According to a recent report, the phone is expected to launch the Canvas Infinity with a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is said to run on  Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

Coolpad to launch the Play 6 in India

Coolpad published an event on Facebook, teasing the launch of the Play 6 in India. With series of posts, the company will lead to the actual release of the phone. Once the event reaches its end date of August 20, the Coolpad Play 6 will start hitting the shelves.


The Coolpad Play 6 comes with It has a Snapdragon 653 chipset, putting itself on par with the Oppo F3 Plus and ZTE nubia Z17 mini. One of the more impressive specs is the 6 GB RAM, coming along with 64 GB storage and a microSD slot.
A dual camera setup is located on the back with a fingerprint scanner keeping company below it. Both sensors are 13 MP with f/2.0 lens, PDAF, and there is a dual-LED flash. The OS running on the Play 6 is Android Nougat 7.1.1. The device will rely on 4,060 mAh battery capacity to take you through the day.
The expected price of the phone is around INR15,000 around

Reliance JioPhone run special version of WhatsApp!!?


Reliance Jio is in talks with WhatsApp to create a special version of the popular messaging app for newly launched JioPhone, according to a latest report from Factor Daily. Both the companies are planning to introduce a toned-down version of WhatsApp on the feature phone.
The discussions, between the Jio team and WhatsApp, still seem to be in its preliminary stage. Although the JioPhone comes pre-loaded with Jio Music, Jio Cinema and Jio TV, it lacks basic ability to run WhatsApp, which has a over 200 million users in India. The phone is also said to include Facebook and YouTube apps. Poweredby Qualcomm 205 platform, the JioPhone runs on KaiOS, a forked version of the Firefox operating system. WhatsApp doesn’t have a version that runs on the KaisOS and therefore the duo are in talks for a special version.
The JioPhone is company’s first VoLTE feature phone that is ‘Made in India’. The phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, Alphanumeric keypad, 4-way Navigation key, microSD slot, rear camera, torch light, FM Radio, comes with 22 major Indian languages and has voice commands call someone, reject a call, browse internet, open apps  and more. The JioPhone is effectively free, but to avoid misuse, the company is collecting Rs. 1500 as a security deposit, which will be refunded after 3 years
